Mehmet Bozdağ (1983), Bozdağ Film Founder and Chairman of the executive board, Producer, Screenwriter, Project Designer.
Mr.Bozdağ, he was born in Kayseri, graduated from Sakarya University, Department of History and completed his master's degree in Sociology at the same university.
He stepped into his professional career as the producer and scriptwriter of the documentary film “Ustalar Alimler, Sultanlar”, and he signed successful projects such as Resurrection Ertugrul, Yunus Emre The Journey of Love, Mehmetcik Blessed Victory, Establishment Osman, Turks Are Coming Sword of Justice and Mendirman Jalaladdin
Bozdağ, who lives in Istanbul, is married and has two children.
Mehmet Bozdağ, who took part in many projects during his university years, produced and wrote the script for the documentary film “Masters, Scholars, Sultans” within the scope of the Istanbul European Capital of Culture project in 2010.
Bozdağ is the project designer, script writer and producer of the series “Establishment Osman”, which reflects the events experienced by the Kayı Obası in the 13th century in the light of historical science, which includes an important period in both intellectual and spiritual terms in the establishment of the Ottoman Empire. He also produced and wrote the Yunus Emre series “Aşkın Yolculukluğu”, which started during the period when the Diriliş Ertuğrul series was ongoing and ended in May 2016.

BOARD MEMBERS: KENAN YAVUZ
Born in Bayburt in 1959, Kenan Yavuz graduated from the Department of Business Administration at the Ankara Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences in 1981. He completed his master's degree at the Institute of Business Economics at the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul University. Kenan Yavuz began his professional career in the private sector in 1985 and worked in various disciplines and held senior management positions until 2004. He was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Petkim Petrokimya Holding in March 2004 and as the General Manager of Petkim in May 2004. As the longest-serving general manager of Petkim Petrokimya Holding, one of Turkey's most important strategic institutions, he managed the privatization process and completed it in 2008. He continued his duty as the General Manager of Petkim after the privatization upon the request of the Azerbaijan State Oil Company SOCAR, which purchased Petkim Holding. In 2009, within the framework of SOCAR's decision to expand its activities in Turkey, he was appointed as the President/CEO of SOCAR Turkey Energy Inc.
Since 2009, he established and managed STAR Refinery, Petlim Port, SOCAR Power Energy Investments and Distribution companies within SOCAR Turkey Energy Inc. Kenan Yavuz served as the President (CEO) of SOCAR Turkey Energy Inc., which became the largest industrial investor in the history of the Turkish economy based on the integration of Refinery-Petrochemical-Energy-Logistics-Distribution, for 8 years.
During his professional senior management period, he led the implementation of real sector investments worth 20 billion dollars in Petkim, Star Refinery, Tanap, Petlim Port, Socar Energy and Distribution projects.
He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO) between 2008-2011, a member of the Board of Directors of the DEİK/Turkish Italian Business Council and Vice President of the URAK International Competition Research Institution Association.
In August 2015, due to his successful work in the STAR Refinery, TANAP Natural Gas Pipeline, Petlim Port, Energy and Petrochemical Investments within the scope of SOCAR in the strategic partnership between Turkey and Azerbaijan and his superior efforts in the implementation of the concept of “two states, one nation”, he was awarded the “TERAKKİ MEDAL” by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
After his professional life, he established his own businesses. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Irfan Group Companies, which produces original parts for the automotive industry, Irfan Plastik ve Kalıp Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş., Ezgert Turizm A.Ş. for museum and hotel management in the tourism sector, Yavuz Management Solutions for Management Consultancy activities and Irfan Real Estate.
The “Culture House” project, which he initiated in 2012 as a social responsibility project in order to pay his debt of loyalty to the lands where he was born and raised, began operating as the Kenan Yavuz Ethnography Museum over time. Consisting of 26 different venues on an area of 15 thousand square meters in Beşpınar Village, Demirözü District, Bayburt Province, under the roof of the Kenan Yavuz Culture Foundation he founded, the Ethnography Museum won the “European Museum of the Year Award” (European Museum of the Year Award) by the European Museum Forum (EMF/EMYA) in 2021 and the European Union Cultural Heritage Europa Nostra awards in 2022, becoming the first museum and institution to receive the world’s two most important awards in its field at the same time. It received the 2022 Ministry of Culture and Tourism Special Award from the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at a ceremony held in Ankara on January 24, 2023. He made pioneering efforts in culture and experience tourism with the “Loru Han” he built as a museum hotel within the Kenan Yavuz Ethnography Museum. He brought to life the documentary film work and book project called “A Story of Ownership” in order to transfer the ancient culture of Anatolia to future generations. He became a founding board member of Bozdağ Ticaret ve Enerji AŞ at the beginning of 2025.
